My Story

I've created this page because I know what its personally like to live with a hearing impairment and I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of Hearing Support Bay of Plenty and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Silent Leadership Challenge 2017. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can, using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Hearing Support bay of Plenty and NFD, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank ...

Hearing Support BOP

Blob

Hearing Support BOP offers support, information and advice to our hearing impaired community and their Whanau.

People with hearing loss can feel isolated and vulnerable if not offered the right kind of support and assistive devices.

We also deliver a fun, interactive educational programme to school students that teaches them the importance of protecting their ears against noise induced hearing loss.

We are a registered charity, and receive not govt funding. We rely on the generous support of funding organisations - but these funds are in short supply.

We believe that the Silent Leadership Challenge will help to raise awareness of hearing loss whilst also raising funds to support us.
